  1. Thanks for the Ian Tyson tribute, Steve.

    Would have liked to have heard Sylvia, too... I was only 8, 9 and 10 years old back in the early '60s when they made their regular appearances on "Hootenanny," a weekly folk show filmed live on college campuses.

    May have only been 8, 9 or 10, but I had the hots for Sylvia. She was so skinny, so beautiful, so confident. And sang so well with Ian. I wanted to be him. Because he had her.
